Update 8/21/18: Authorities this morning revealed that there may be evidence that Chris Watts was unfaithful to his wife. In addition, documents detail that Chris now says he walked in when his wife was attacking their two daughters, and that in a rage, he killed his wife. No word on what evidence there is to support his confession.

Update 8/20/18: Christopher Watts, husband of Le-Vel distributor Shanann Watts, was formally charged with murder this afternoon. Investigators will be releasing an affidavit that outlines why they believe Chris killed his wife, two daughters, and unborn son.

Update 8/18/18: Trying to uncover a motive for the murders, news agencies are reporting that Shanann and her husband Christopher struggled financially in recent years, including filing for bankruptcy in 2015. At the time of the filing, the Watts owed $70,000, most of it in student loans and credit cards. Friends acknowledge that the couple had financial issues, but have yet to confirm that they were fighting currently. Arrest documents reveal that the victims may have been strangled, and pathologists are currently conducting swab tests on the necks and hands of the recovered bodies. We’ll continue to update this article as we learn more.

I just want them to come back.” Authorities are still gathering information about what may have caused the rift between Shanann and her husband. ~After reading the details of this and other articles regarding this horrible crime,I cannot help but wonder if perhaps some sort of a chemical imbalance occurred in the parents of the girls from wearing those weight~loss patches, which may have caused them to become upset with each other, and ultimately contributed to this outcome….maybe some blood testing would help to determine the truth.
